Background:
Crail Primary School is a small village school with 150 pupils situated within the historic Royal Burgh of Crail. The school serves the community of Crail and rural outlying districts. The present building is over 100 years old, the school having celebrated its centenary year in 1990. The main school building comprises of five classrooms, a hall/dining room and a library area. A separate purpose-built nursery was opened in 1990 and there is a new classroom building adjoining the car park to accommodate its rising roll. .
