Burntisland Primary School is situated towards the east of the town. It is an old school and is bigger than many other schools. It has four separate buildings. They are called Ferguson, Cromwell, Dallas and the games & music building. The school enjoys sports and take part in hockey and football tournaments. It also has a running club. Each year many classes take part in the Scottish Dance Festival and Creative Dance Festival at Lochgelly Centre. The school aims to provide a safe and pleasant environment for effective learning. .
